The Learning Lodge — Bespoke Timber Outdoor Shelter

4orty Construction designed and built this bespoke timber-framed shelter on-site at a school, an open-fronted structure intended for use as a covered outdoor teaching and play space year-round.

The frame is built in solid timber posts and roof trusses, left exposed internally under a pitched, fully shingled roof. Timber-clad half-walls run around three sides and double as bench seating, sitting on an artificial turf base.

Named 'The Learning Lodge' by the school, the structure was handed over complete with the surrounding ground and access reinstated around it.
